About Us
The Sedgewick Ave Project
The Sedgewick Ave Project is a youth-focused creative and community development hub based in Campbelltown. Rooted in hip-hop, authenticity, and lived experience, we exist to empower the next generation through access, opportunity, and self-expression.
At our core, we operate through a foundational philosophy built on what we call the Three Cs: Community, Culture, and Creativity. We believe:Without community, there is no culture. Without culture, there is no creativity. That’s why our work always begins with community. We engage directly with the people—parents, elders, allies, and most importantly, the young people themselves. From there, we build a culture of safety, trust, and excellence.
That culture becomes the soil where creativity grows—whether it’s through music, design, film, storytelling, or innovation. We don’t just teach creativity—we live it, nurture it, and reflect it in everything we do.
Our programs are intentionally designed to be culturally safe, emotionally engaging, and creatively liberating. Whether it's workshops, events, one-on-one mentorship, or real-world opportunities, everything we offer is built to activate potential and help young people step fully into who they are meant to be.
